WARNER MUSIC: GRIFF MIXTAPE LAUNCH
The Brief
In June 2021, The Manual was invited by Warner Music Group to create a special moment for both industry and fans to celebrate the launch of emerging artist Griff’s debut mixtape: One Foot in Front of the Other. Having risen to fame during the pandemic this was the first chance for her to perform to fans in real life.
What we did
We sourced The Mildmay Club in Newington Green as the venue for the event – a 129-year-old working men’s club with stunning period features. Working alongside Griff and her creative directors, IS Studio, we designed the show to be an intimate performance in the round with intrinsically designed lighting and visuals.
To make this an extra special performance for her fans, we helped facilitate a Q&A with goodie bags for each audience member, including signed merchandise from Griff.
