Outernet London were seeking an agency to help them plan and deliver UNICEF’S inaugural Blue Moon Gala 2021: celebrating 75 years as the leading organisation working for children. This invitation-only, black-tie event promised a star-studded guest list including UNICEF ambassadors, VIPs and celebrities so needed to feel prestige, emotive and engaging.
What we did
Outernet was the ideal setting – a major new immersive media, music and culture district in the heart of London’s West End. The location’s world-leading use of 360-degree wrap-around screens enabled UNICEF to showcase their organisation like never before.
The night started with a red-carpet experience created and managed by The Manual followed by a champagne reception and themed three-course dinner hosted by Olivia Coleman and James Nesbitt. For entertainment, we produced special live performances from Arlo Parks and Duran Duran. The event was an overwhelming success for UNICEF raising over £800,000 for the charity and pages of national press coverage.
