Don Papa Rum: Chefs & Shakers
The Brief
We teamed up with Don Papa Rum to ignite the UK’s first-ever Chefs & Shakers competition. Over two days, the UK’s top chefs and mixologists faced off, crafting the ultimate food and cocktail pairings inspired by Don Papa Rum, encompassing the theme: Food by Fire.
What we did
We transformed the contemporary space at Upstairs Brixton into an immersive, multipurpose hotspot, showcasing its patio with stunning views of the London skyline.
By Day: We set the stage for expert masterclasses, vox pop interviews, and an action-packed live cooking and cocktail making competition. We sourced and provided some of the world’s most niche and unique Filipino ingredients for the competition and our masterclass sessions.
By Night: We crafted eight identical cooking and cocktail competition stations, a dedicated content creation zone and a photo booth backdrop area. Guests and competitors played witness to Chefs & Shakers coming alive with a full brand bar takeover, complete with live DJ sets and karaoke.
