The Brief
Zero100 is a membership-based intelligence platform that connects, informs, and inspires the world’s most influential C-Level Operations & Supply Chain Officers – and their teams – to unlock the true potential of the AI and Digital Revolution for the lasting benefit of business and our planet.
With sustainability at the forefront of everything they do, our challenge was to create an event that was as sustainable as possible.
What we did
We tackled the brief through a dual approach. Firstly, we prioritised integrating sustainability into our event design while maintaining visual appeal. This involved using cardboard for the main and breakout stages to reduce plastic usage, with any plastic elements designed for longevity and future reuse. Additionally, all cardboard components were recycled to prevent landfill waste.
Secondly, we addressed the inherent carbon footprint of the event by implementing the TRACE initiative. This platform enabled us to accurately measure and offset the environmental impact across various aspects, including energy consumption, food and drink, guest travel and accommodation, graphics and build materials, transport logistics, and waste management.
