Paramount: Blackpool Switch-On
The Brief
To work in partnership with Paramount and Blackpool City Council to create the famous Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On, an outdoor live music event on Tower Festival headland.
What we did
2023 marked our fifth year creating Switch-On for Paramount. Each year production has become more ambitious as we deliver an open-air stage alongside the iconic Blackpool Tower.
Over the years, crowds of up to 50,000 have partied to performances from the likes of Britney Spears, Jonas Blue, Gary Barlow and Example. The event kick-starts the annual 66 nights of Blackpool Illumination along the seafront with an impressive live countdown lead by talent switching on the famous lights with SFX, lasers, digital wristbands and fireworks.
