Epidemic Sound x SXSW Austin

The Brief

Epidemic Sound tasked The Manual with creating a standout brand experience at SXSW Austin 2025. The goal was to make noise for Epidemic Sound at SXSW with a bold activation that cast a spotlight on its residency and immerse people into the brand. The experience aimed to be memorable and shareable, boosting brand legitimacy and awareness among key industry professionals, like creatives, positioning Epidemic Sound as a highly creative partner and solution for ANY entity creating content.

What we did

We completely transformed the Filmmakers Lounge for a 5-day Epidemic Sound brand takeover, creating an immersive Cinematic Universes for unique listening experiences. From a Severance-inspired set build in the reception area to functional product demo spaces and a dark room-inspired pop-up merch shop, every detail was crafted to cut-through.

We also took over the Intermission Party with iconic Film & TV lighting, a DJ set featuring tracks exclusively from Epidemic Sound‘s library, and a bespoke, on-brand photo moment to elevate the guest experience further.
